Torrey Mercer Premieres "I Believe In Me" Music Video

Singer Songwriter and Anti-Bullying advocate, Torrey Mercer releases her brand new music video for her single "I Believe In Me" on Wednesday, June 17.

"I Believe In Me" is a co-write by Melodye Perry of Baby G Music and Alex Teamer aka ATEAM (Quincy Jones, Lauryn Hill, Xzibit, After 7, Wiz Kalifa, and more), the single is more than just a song. As Torrey describes, it's a message about being an imperfect human being.
"It's a song about being human, and really I don't know if I consider myself an artist who wants to strive for perfection all the time in the way that artists like Beyonce, etc would. To me perfection is impossible to obtain and something I like about my music and who I am is that I am proud of the fact that I'm human, and I don't have airbrushed skin" - Torrey Mercer
Directed and Produced by I-95 Pictures, the music video began as a concept that Torrey created, including scenes from numerous anti-bullying assemblies from local elementary schools with thousands of children and the inclusion of a 8-person choir. The music video shows the raw emotion on the faces of the kids in the video.
"I hope that this video shows kids that even if it's hard, all of them can believe in themselves in a positive way, and for the better, whether they are the victim or the bully. If the bully believed in themselves a little more in a positive way, there wouldn't be nearly as many bullies around"
